چکیده
• Hybrid sputtering/gas agglomeration system produces flower-like Zn-Fe NPs. Fast, simple and reliable method to produce bimetallic nanoparticles. Molecular dynamics shows the growth mechanisms of particles. Galvanic couple between Zn –Fe protects Fe from oxidation. Bimetallic nanoparticles have gained attention in last decade due their unusual characteristics compared monometallic counterparts. However, production such particles with controlled morphologies composition needs be explored understood. In this work, we demonstrate a fast process obtain (Zinc-Iron) (NPs) using hybrid based on combination conventional magnetron sputtering cluster beam source. The morphology structure were characterized by Scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM), while chemical was evaluated simultaneous acquisition Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) Electron energy loss (EELS). Besides, molecular dynamic simulations used model nanoparticle collisions during production, revealing formation

Deposition of Size-Selected Cu Nanoparticles by Inert Gas Condensation
Nanometer size-selected Cu clusters in the size range of 1-5 nm have been produced by a plasma-gas-condensation-type cluster deposition apparatus, which combines a grow-discharge sputtering with an inert gas condensation technique. With this method, by controlling the experimental conditions, it was possible to produce nanoparticles with a strict control in size. The structure and size of Cu na...
متن کاملCharacterization of InSb Nanoparticles Synthesized Using Inert Gas Condensation
Nanoparticles (NPs) of indium antimonide (InSb) were synthesized using a vapor phase synthesis technique known as inert gas condensation (IGC). NPs were directly deposited, at room temperature and under high vacuum, on glass cover slides, TEM grids and (111) p-type silicon wafers. TEM studies showed a bimodal distribution in the size of the NPs with average particle size of 13.70 nm and 33.20 n...

During last decade, nanotechnology has gained a significant relevance in many areas of basic research and applied science. One of the great challenges in the field of nanotechnology is preparation of nanoparticles and nanostructures where new, not ordinary materials are used. In the present study, we observed self organizing structures prepared by the gas deposition method in N2 atmosphere. Gla...
متن کاملHighly size-controlled synthesis of Au/Pd nanoparticles by inert-gas condensation.
Gold/Palladium nanoparticles were fabricated by inert-gas condensation on a sputtering reactor. With this method, by controlling both the atmosphere on the condensation chamber and the magnetron power, it was possible to produce nanoparticles with a high degree of monodispersity in size. The structure and size of the Au/Pd nanoparticles were determined by mass spectroscopy, and confirmed by ato...
